Join a naturalist-guided tour on cross country skis or snowshoes during winter full moons.
The tour includes equipment, guide for the evening, trail access, a hot (non-alcoholic) beverage and dessert by the Lodge fireplace. Alcoholic beverages are available at the bar. Maximum group is 15 participants. $55 per person.
Reservations are required and space is limited.

The Mammoth Invitational is the annual signature event hosted by and benefiting the Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation - a not-for-profit organizatation. MMCF is working to connect and motivate the extended Mammoth Community through education, athletics and outdoor activities.
In its fourth year, the Mammoth Invitational is a weekend of riding Mammoth Mountain's incredible terrain, racing gates or working on radical turns and jumps under the expert guidance of US Olympians and snow sport athletes - all personalities whose names you know. All while giving to a worthwhile charity.
If you are a competitive ski racer you can ski the Top of California with US Ski Team athletes, race the gates and/or choose your rivals and go head-to-head - may the fastest team win!
The Mammoth Invitational welcomes winter sports enthusiasts from all disciplines. If racing is not your thing, you can be part of the fun by taking advantage of the boarder and free ride option.
Help us achieve our goals by attending the Mammoth Invitational April 13-15, 2012. You'll get to play, hang out and compete with US Ski Team athletes and attend various evening functions, participate in live and silent auctions and much more.

The Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra annual Slide-a-Thon promises to be an amazing day on the snow. DSES invites teams and individuals to raise money for our great cause: making sure that any person with a disability can experience the freedom and exhilaration of outdoor challenges. Donations will support scholarships, volunteer training and programs. Come and join us as a participant, volunteer or sponsor.

The Volcom Peanut Butter & Rail Jam Championships return to Mammoth!
After numerous stops on the PB&RJ North American tour the five top winners of each qualifier will battle it out in the finals for a chance to win part of the $30,000 prize purse and to become the 2012 PB&RJ Champion!
This popular amateur snowboard contest has been running for the past eleven years and presents a fresh "jam style" format for the riders. Three park features dug in side-by-side to create a "rail zone" for the riders to hit as many times as they like within their twenty minute set. Riders are judged on the difficulty and style of their tricks and their best two scores make up their final result.
Volcom's Peanut Butter and Rail Jam is an awesome event for spectators~ come hang out on the Main Lodge Sundeck and enjoy the competition right there on the snow! Riders are invite only; spectators are more than welcome!

April 23 is the day you've all been waiting for: The Annual Spring Fest Party & Pond Skim at Mammoth! Come and join the crowds as they fill up Canyon Lodge to watch the craziest of our Mammoth guests straight line it on their skis/snowboards across the 110ft pond! It's one of the most entertaining events you'll see all Spring! Come and spectate, or why not give it a shot?! The Pond Skim is open to the public.
Registration begins at Canyon Lodge at 11am. The Skim starts at 2pm!
There is no pre-registration, the first 50 (fifty) guests IN COSTUME will be entered to Skim. Must have costume to participate!

The Active Brodown Showdown is invading Mammoth for the second year in a row!
Catch this amateur slopestyle contest on April 22, 2012!
Top amateur riders are invited to showcase their talents on a custom built course full of jumps, bumps, jibs and rails for a chance to win over $5000 in cash and prizes! The competition will consist of a two-hour jam format qualifier and a 45 minute jam format final with 12 on-course judges comprised of pros, team managers and media moguls.
This event is limited to 100 riders so get there early! Registration begins at 8am at Chair 4. There is a $35 entry fee (CASH ONLY) and discounted lift tickets will be available to ALL competitors. Helmets are not required but are recommended.

Mammoth's Springtacular brings together children with disabilities to enjoy the company of other disabled children through the excitement of racing down a mountain on freshly fallen snow.
Sponsored by Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra (DSES), the April 2012 Springtacular event on Mammoth Mountain will give local and visiting children the chance to spend three days skiing, snowboarding and making new friends. To cap it off, on the last day the students get to attend a dance with their new found friends.

KidApalooza is a day full of children's entertainment, featuring Latin American children's performer and recording artist José Luis Orozco, and other family-friendly entertainment, booths, crafts, food, petting zoo, a bicycle rodeo (bring your bike, trike, and helmet) and activities that support the events themes of wellness, health, literacy, community, and social responsibility.

Back in 1968, Don Rake and some friends decided to put on a motocross in Mammoth Lakes, California. They built a world-class track 8,000 feet up in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range. Dave McCoy came along and offered the backing of his Mammoth Mountain Ski Area and the rest is history.
Every summer racers have flocked to Mammoth for this classic event. It is the oldest continuous running motocross in the USA. The track has changed a little over the years, but the fun hasn't!
"The Monster Energy Road to Mammoth" prequalifying series is now in it's third year and riders from all over the West will be battling it out at tracks from Arizona to California to qualify for the finals: The Monster Energy Mammoth Motocross! With top riders ready to compete at Mammoth, this year's final event will be more exciting than ever!

The High Sierra Triathlon Club is proud to present the TOUGHEST race in the most BEAUTIFUL place! Set in a beautifully scenic high alpine setting, the community of June Lake sits at 7,600 feet above sea level with breathtaking views of Carson Peak and the Sierra Range surrounding the nestled cluster of high altitude lakes: Grant, Silver, Gull and June. For our 3rd year, the Welcome Dinner is hosted by June Mountain. Take a chair lift ride up to the Ski and Summer Chalet to dine with views overlooking the race course and beyond to historic Mono Lake!

This signature Mammoth summer event kicks off on Thursday evening with a Winemaker Dinner at the Top of the Sierra; on Friday evening the event moves to The Village for the Wine Walk presented by the Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation; on Saturday Mammoth Festival takes over the rustic wood site surrounded by pines and the fresh mountain air with a day full of live music and fabulous wine. More than 4,000 attendees will enjoy perfect weather, great wines, appetizing eats and amazing art. The weekend-long event concludes at Hyde Lounge in The Village with the Sunday Champagne Brunch.

The 4th Annual Mammoth Rocks will kick off on Friday with live entertainment and activities and will continue into Saturday with the main event including the Taste of the Sierra starting at noon and live entertainment all day until 10pm. The event comes to an end on Sunday with the Bloody Mary contest.

The Annual Labor Day Festival of the Arts is back for it's 43rd year! Over 100 fine artists and contemporary craftsmen will present their work at Mammoth Lakes' premier art event, held in the magical forest at Sam's Woods Site.
